B10
DescriptionTriCab Shear Bolt lugs are specifically designed to handle our flexible aluminium and copper constructions. The unique shear bolt mechanism provides a consistent and reliable termination every time. It is super fast and efficient when compared to traditional crimping method. It also ensures a pre-determined shear torque and compression force which results in enhanced electrical and mechanical performance. The lug is constructed from tin plated aluminium alloy and has a grooved inner wall surface. Not suitable for non-TriCab aluminium cables. |
Advantages
- No crimping equipment or tools required. Just a standard wrench or spanner - a battery operated tool makes it even easier.
- In most cases, one lug size handles multiple aluminium and copper conductor sizes, thereby significantly reducing stock holdings.
- Clear marking on the barrel shows product code and suitable conductor range.
- Tin plating helps resist corrosive environments such as oil and gas, marine, petrochemicals and water.
